The Peanuts x Anya Hindmarch = Stationery Shop

Come take a snoop(y) at what the pop-up has to offer!

Anya Hindmarch, well-known for its creative, experimental retail concepts to market its latest collections, has decided to collaborate with the Peanuts gang to launch its latest accessories and stationery.

Just before this, they had opened an ice cream parlor with interesting flavours, such as the Kikoman Soy sauce-flavoured ice cream, which we sadly did not get to try.

However, this time, we were able to visit the Peanuts concept.

The Peanuts gang, which included Charlie Brown, Snoopy and their friends, was first introduced into the newspaper comic strip in 1950 by American Cartoonist Charles M. Schulz. Although the cartoon is 74 years old, it is still loved by fans, both adult and children, around the globe, including myself. Every time I stumble across the Peanuts comic whether through the internet or bookshops, I would stop to read them because they are heartwarming, funny and a dopamine boost.

Step into the yellow school bus with us to Charlie Brown’s classroom!

It is such a creative idea to make the doorway look like a school bus because it will take you into the store, which is decorated to look like a classroom.

There are little desks and chairs with the names of the Peanuts gang on each desk, the walls are decorated with the ABCs and a blackboard to complete the classroom.

This goes to show how much detail is put into this project.

On top of each desk, there is a display of pencil cases, card holders, wallets and notebooks, all designed with the beloved Snoopy on it.

There are leather tote bags with snoopy on them as well placed on the “classroom” shelves.

These items are quite costly so if you have the budget for it then indulge yourself!

If you’re on a tight budget like us, then I recommend looking at the cute little stationery the pop-up has to offer.

They have notebooks, stickers, scented candles, pens, and many more, with Snoopy being the main character on most of them!

Different things have a different Snoopy on them, such as the organizing files, which have a comic strip printed on them, or the famous Lucy’s Psychiatric Help Booth, which would be on handkerchiefs, or Charlie Brown, and the others sit on top of pens.

There is a bonus character on one of the items: Olaf, one of Snoopy’s seven siblings!

It is a candle holder (I think) or a figurine that can be found on one of the back shelves.

I think it is quite adorable to add this little character to the stationery collection, even if Olaf was considered an “ugly dog” in the comics.

However, you have to hurry because the pop-up will end on 13th October, and you don’t want to miss your chance to get cute stationery to brighten your desks or bring to your university classes.

This was such a cute pop-up and I recommend a visit to any snoopy fan whenever you are in West London.
