Richmond

Spend a sunny day by visiting London's most renowned town, Richmond!

Richmond is an hour by train ride from London.

It is a small town known for its famous gardens, such as Richmond Park and Kew Garden.

Richmond, with its unique charm and vibrant atmosphere, stands out from the bustling streets of Central London and offers a refreshing change of pace.

When you arrive at Richmond Station, feel free to walk around without using a GPS. This will give you a glimpse of exploring the town's small streets, which are filled with unique boutique shops.

I recommend walking down Quadrant Street, which easily leads to the river banks, to facilitate your walk.

As you stroll along the Richmond River-Thames, the picturesque scenery will transport you to a different world, perhaps even reminiscent of the Seine River in Paris.

While walking all the way down to the end of our pathway, Buccleuch Garden is found.

It is a beautiful open field, where you can easily cross if you want to end your river walk and head back onto the road.

While crossing the field, you will come face to face with cows and horses.

We decided to walk to Richmond Park, famously known for deer sightseeing.

I want to warn you that trying to find the deer may take a while, or you may never see them, so it's out of pure luck.

I recommend taking a water bottle or a few snacks to picnic, as it can be a really long walk that can get you out of Richmond and back to Central!

Overall, the experience was unforgettable and worth it.
