The Balloon Exhibition

A new immersive experience has landed in London in recent months, and it has taken London with a BLOW!

Located at the Old Billingsgate in Central London, The Balloon Museum, which opened on  December 27th 2023, features an exhibition called ‘Emotion Air: Art You Can Feel’ which displays a collaborative work of 20 artists from around the world. The exhibition aims for visitors to connect and explore the relationship between human emotion and art through captivating rooms filled with different form of art.

Visiting the exhibition felt like entering a playground for adults. It was a mind-blowing experience that kept me on my toes through the visit, as every room held a different surprise of artwork contained in it.  Moreover, as it is an ‘immersive experience,’ the museum offers visits the experience to touch and play around with the contents in the rooms, which as you know revolves around balloons and balls. Additionally, it is family-friendly.

The visit took me about an hour, and it felt like exploring the exhibition and the building itself. It felt like going through a maze while going up and down different staircases.

I recommend visiting the exhibition in your free time with friends and family, but with booking in advance.

However, The ticket prices for adults range from £32, while tickets for kids are priced at £15, which I find slightly expensive, but I think it's worth the visit.

The Balloon Museum Exhibition will run until April 14th 2024!
